Chicago 2018

As one of its conservation initiatives, the Shedd Aquarium has created floating barge islands to restore native plants and attract wildlife back to the Chicago river. They invited kayakers to paddle to the islands to perform a bird and insect census. As a happy by-product, we also removed debris.
